Moree is in the centre of Australia's richest agricultural region with grain, cotton, sheep and cattle being the prime products. Many trips around the region will give the visitor access to the cross section of agriculture that is to be found.
The town is also famous for its Hot Spa Baths, said to have many healing powers. People travel from all over the world to enjoy the theraputic benefits of the hot springs. In the hot springs complex there is also an olympic size cold pool for cooling off in the middle of summer.
